With the Government’s emphasis on using technology to significantly cut staff workloads and the e-strategy now underway – it is no longer practical to purchase individual systems and then face trying to link them. Our new breed solution delivers an integrated package, to address the key reporting and information issues schools and colleges now face.
VisuClass is the only system that satisfies the DCSF (Department for Children, Schools and Families) requirements to provide secure access to pupil information and a complete email communication system.
Single system access to real-time information
VisuClass allows parents secure access, via the web, to comprehensive real-time information about their child’s school attendance. This information can be updated daily and as many times per day as appropriate for the individual school.
Minimal administration required
Pupil information is contained on a secure website and only available to parents with children currently attending the school. This information such as timetables, attendance and assessment data is automatically uploaded to the website throughout the day, without the need for manual intervention. Once students leave the school, accounts are automatically deleted as required.
Manage parental communication
VisuClass enables you to send letters home electronically, to your chosen group of students – for example, a year group, tutor group, teaching group, user-defined mailing list, or even an individual pupil’s parents. The parent receive an email alerting them to the letter(s) that have been sent to them, along with a link to the site so that they can view them. VisuClass is the only system to automatically convert Microsoft Word documents into Adobe Acrobat format, so that everyone can view them. The system supports notification by email and by SMS.
Data automatically extracted from SIMS.net
Attendance and assessment data, timetables, details of students’ contacts and photographs are automatically exported from SIMS.net and uploaded onto the website. Once it is set up, it will continue to run silently in the background without intervention.
